Magnitude 6.5 quake hits off coast of Broome,Australia

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake has struck off the coast of Broome, with tremors felt as far away as Perth.
The quake hit 202km west of Broome at 1.39pm, according to Geoscience Australia.
There have been no reports of damage and there is no tsunami threat to Australia.
