Catastrophic tornado hits Cimenyan, West Java, Indonesia

A strong tornado hit the Cimenyan region, West Java, Indonesia at 15:45LT on Sunday, March 28, 2021. The Badung Regency BPBD reported that 298 houses had been destroyed in the villages of Cimenyan and Mekarsaluyu, as well as 2 educational facilities, a village office, and 1 mosque. 2 people were seriously injured and 3 minors. In addition, the tornado collapsed many trees, blocking roads and destroying at least 2 cars.
