Terrible Hailstorm hit Pietermaritzburg, South Africa (video)

Parts of Pietermaritzburg were pelted by a hail storm on Wednesday
afternoon.

Social media is buzzing with videos and photographs of the hail storm that is
believed to have started battering Pietermaritzburg after 3pm.

Some of the videos show flooded areas where rain water is carrying some of the
hail away while others show the effect strong winds have had on trees.

Earlier the South African Weather Service (Saws) had issued a yellow level 2 warning for thunderstorms that would affect the Western Cape and Northern Cape.
