Scary snowfall hits Hokkaido, Japan (video)

A record-breaking snowstorm hit Japan's Hokkaido and paralyzed transportation networks here and there, forcing a railway operator to cancel all rail services to and from the prefecture capital on February 7. In Sapporo, a record of 60 cm of snow fell in the 24 hours until 14:00 on February 6.
