Earthquake of magnitude 7.3 strikes south of Vanuatu
A 7.3 magnitude quake struck south of Vanuatu at 1256 GMT on Thursday, the United States Geological Survey said..
The offshore quake hit at a depth of 35 kilometers (21 miles), about 23 kilometers south of the town of Isangel, USGS said.
